Ghanaian forward Bernard Morrison went viral on social media after removing his shorts to celebrate Simba’s title success.
Morrison helped Simba secure the title against bitter rivals and his former side Young Africans last weekend, before celebrating the league title by running around in front of the packed crowd in his undies.
The viral video was posted by one of the continent’s leading reporters Saddick Adams on Twitter last weekend.
“Bernard Morrison. Moved from Yanga to rivals Simba under acrimonious circumstances. Mocked by Yanga fans that he had hernia. This weekend, Morrison and Simba beat Yanga to win double. Morrison removes his shorts to celebrate in front of Yanga fans. Forced to wear his shorts,” Adams explained.
Meanwhile, the Tanzania giants will compete in what will be a consecutive CAF Champions League campaign next season.
