Reigning Ghana Premier League (GPL) Champions, Hearts of Oak SC, has reportedly include loan returnee goalkeeper, Richard Baidoo in a swap deal that sees Medeama SC’s shot-stopper, Eric Ofori Antwi move to the capital, Accra.
Hearts of Oak have been in talks with Medeama for while now in an attempt to secure the signature of the former Asante Kotoko number one.
The latest report by Joy FM Broadcast Journalist, Owuraku Ampofo, claim the Phobians are negotiating a straight exchange of young goalie Richard Baidoo for Ofori Antwi.
Baidoo was a revelation on his debut season in the GPL for Karela United where he spent the term on loan at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
The young goalie on his debut season kept 8 clean sheets in 23 league games for the Aiyinase side.
The Ghana U-23 shot-stopper has been on the radar of many GPL clubs including, Karela United, Aduana Stars and Medeama, which makes the deal looks possible.
Hearts of Oak despite Baidoo’s impressive performance on loan are keen to sign Ofori Antwi as the club look for a near-perfect blend of the squad to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League next season.
