Ivory Coast international goalkeeper Sylvain Gbohouo has expressed interest in playing for Ghana Premier League side, Medeama SC, according to reports.
The highly-rated shot-stopper is a free agent this summer after partying ways with Congolese giants TP Mazembe.
According to Kumasi-based Pure FM, the goalkeeper has officially written to the Yellow and Mauve to express his interest in joining the Tarkwa-based club ahead of the 2021/2022 football season.
“Ivory Coast national team goalkeeper, Sylvain Gbohouo has officially contacted @MedeamaSC and expressed his interest in signing for the club. The former TP Mazembe goalie will turn 33 years in October. Gbohouo is now a free player after ending his stay with Mazembe in June 2021.” the report said.
Sylvain Gbohouo, 32, before leaving TP Mazembe played six years for the club. Before that adventure, he was the goalkeeper of the Ivory Coast club Séwé Sport.
The goalkeeper over the years has been a national team goalkeeper and was part of the Ivory Coast squad that won the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
