Ghana star Thomas Partey has suffered fresh injury during Arsenal’s pre-season friendly game with Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners hosted the Blues in the The Mind Series at the Emirates Stadium where the European Champions thumbed their city rivals 2-1.
Partey enjoyed a superb afternoon of good inter-positional switches and decent passes until he collapsed under a challenge from Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Details of the injury is not immediately known but it appears he suffered an ankle problem.
Arsenal is expected to make a statement on the extent of the injury after the match.
