Medeama in the second half continued to dominate possession.
Unfortunately, goalkeeper Frank Boateng miscalculated his run while acting as a sweeper and thus failed to clear Hearts’ Frederick Ansah Botchway’s through ball that eventually found striker Issac Mensah who calmly passed into the yawning net to increase the score.
The 10-times competition winners made it three from the spot through Daniel Afriyie who won the penalty himself.
Afriyie had his penalty taken twice after Frank Boateng got off the line to save the first kick.
Samuel Boadu’s men then slowed the tempo to finish with the emphatic 3-0 win.
