Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu says the MTN FA Cup semi-final tie against Medeama SC was just a normal game.
Hearts won the encounter by an empathetic 3-0 scoreline at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium to progress to the finals.
Benjamin Afutu, Isaac Mensah, and Daniel Afriyie were on the scoresheet as the Phobians qualified for a record 20th final.
Speaking after the win, all smiling Samuel Boadu said the tie was same as one of the regular fixtures in a season.
“It was just a normal match that we played. In fact they did well in the first half. They tried to confuse us but we used our technique and tactics to get all the three goals.”
When asked about why he used unfamiliar line up for the significant game, he said:
“I don’t build my team around few people. I build the team around all the players so if one is not there the replacement will be far better than the starter.”
Hearts of Oak will play Ashanti Gold in the final as the former looks to to clinch a domestic double.
