Asante Kotoko SC’s Adako Jachie training complex first phase near completion as all washroom equipments has been installed.
The Ghana Premier League giants were highly criticized after head coach Mariano Barreto revealed his players had to use the bush to ease themselves during training sessions.
“Kotoko is one team in the world that played all their matches away from home but you never heard me speak. We fought for the title but the people have to know the reality. We have no dressing room or washroom at Adako Jachie but some people just insult players because they don’t know all these,” the Portuguese said after the club’s elimination from the MTN FA Cup
The bad situation which seems to have been a long term problem will be finally over next season when the players return from their long break.
Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah in an interview with Asempa FM confirmed that he is hopeful the first phase will be completed in time to celebrate the management’s one year in office.
“God willing in the next three weeks the Adako Jachie project will be completed”
