Asante Kotoko assistant coach, Johnson Smith insists he is not afraid of being sacked as he knows he will suffer that fate at some point during his career.
Recent reports in the media claim that the Porcupines looking to employ CAF license A certificate coaches to manage the club from next season going for the senior team and the yet-to-be formed academy.
However, the report further stated that Johnson Smith who doesn’t have the above-mentioned certificate have been asked by the management to leave the club after three years with Kotoko.
But Smith has denied the report, stating that he is still at post but not afraid should the management decide to part ways with him.
“I am still at post at Asante Kotoko, and it’s never true as being circulated on social media that I have been sacked. I can say that officially management have not asked me to step down “, Smith told Takoradi-based Westgold Radio.
“And I am not afraid of being sacked because it’s part of the coaching job”, he added..
