Kofi Kordzi has completed his return to Hearts of Oak today after passing his mandatory medical in Accra on Tuesday afternoon.
The 26-year-old underwent his medical ‘with no issues’ at the Barnor Hospital, located at Laterbiokoshie in the Greater Accra Region, with the striker signing a three-year contract with the reigning Ghana Premier League champions as confirmed by Mo TV news.
The bulky striker joined the Phobians on a free transfer after ending his stay at Qatari outfit Muaither SC by mutual consent due to financial constraints which nearly collapsed the Asian club.
Kordzi becomes the second players signed by the Phobians in the ongoing transfer windows after striker Isaac Isaac Agyenim Boateng.
Kordzi was sold by Hearts of Oak to the Qatari club prior to the start of the 2020/21 season in a deal worth $120,000.
Kordzi started really well in the Qatar second tier netting twice in his opening three matches but a hatrick against Mesaimeer SC early this year ensured he extended his goal tally to six in the just ended season.
