Ashanti Gold SC have reportedly accepted Asante Kotoko’s second bid of GHC 300,000 for quick-feet winger Seth Osei but his agent Yussef Chibsah has to give the go-ahead.
The former Atletico Madrid youth star has been sensational since joining the Miners in February this year from Eleven Wonders.
His performance in the just-ended season has made him red-hot in the market with Kotoko eager to lure the player to Kumasi.
According to transfer journalist Shaban Mohammed, the Reds tabled a first offer of GHC 200,000 on August 9, which was rejected before the Purcupines made a second bid with a GHC 100,000 increment on August 12 which was eventually accepted.
Although the Gold and Blacks are ready to sell the Wideman, Shaban included in his report that the player’s agency, Club Consult Africa will determine whether or not Seth Osei signs for Kotoko.
Asante Kotoko are currently hoping that the agency headed by their former player Chibsah will allow Osei to join the Red Army.
