Black Stars of Ghana draw Morocco, Comoros and Gabon in Group C of the 2021 edition of TotalEnergies African Cup Of Nations in Cameroon.
The Black Stars will open their quest for a long-awaited fifth AFCON title against Morocco on January 10, 2022.
The competition wass originally set to come-off in June-July 2021 but was postponed to January 9-Febuary 6 2021 on the account of unfavourable climate conditions.
CAF on 30th June 2020, rescheduled the binnel International Men’s Football Championship of Africa for the second time to January-Febuary 2022 due to the effects of COVID-19 pandemic.
After series of postponment the tournament is set to kick start with host Nation, Cameroon opening Africa’s flagship competition against Burkina Faso at Paul Biya Stadium in Yaoundé.
