Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Richard Attah has revealed that his side are perfectly set for success for years to come.
The Rainbow club looked to be in free fall under Kosta Papic. However, the appointment of Samuel Boadu at the beginning of last season’s second round reinvigorated the squad and breathed new life into the team to dominate domestically.
After clinching the Ghana Premier League title after edging out Asante Kotoko and securing their first CAF Champions League appearance since 2015, as well as winning the MTN FA Cup, the Phobians have confirmed themselves as undisputed top dogs in Ghana.
However, Attah who helped the Phobians to win the double after 20 years has warned other Premier League clubs that the one-time African champions’ aim is to dominate the local scene for years.
“We want to dominate the Ghana Premier league like what PSG and Juventus did in France and Italy respectively”- Attah told Angel FM in Accra.
“coach Samuel Boadu and Hamza Obeng have made losing a game impossible, they always remind us of the task ahead and with the mentality we have now, it is difficult for us to think about losing a match,” he added.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak are hoping to do well in Africa next season as they’ve been paired with Guinean club Cl Kamsar in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
