Medeama SC have officially announced Ignatius Osei Fosu as the club’s new head coach on a three-year deal.
The former Eleven Wonders trainer has replaced Yaw Preko and Yaw Acheampong who led the Tarkwa based side for almost six months after taking over in March.
The fast raising manager had a difficult 2020/2021 season with the Techiman side, escaping relegation in the last but two rounds with three consecutive wins out the last four games to conclude the term.
Fosu managed to record some significant wins with his average squad, like the double over Great Olympics, home victories over Aduana Stars, Karela United and Medeama SC, which established his tactical aptitude.
Moreover, he was able to share the spoils twice with giant Asante Kotoko.
Below is his season statistics with Eleven Wonders 2020/21 GPL
34 games
11 wins
9 draws
14 defeats
