Ghana Premier League(GPL) side Medeama SC have bid farewell to head coach, Yaw Preko and assistant coach Yaw Acheampong after the club refuses to extend the stay of the coaches.
Preko and Acheampong were appointed mid-way through the just-ended GPL season to replace Samuel Boadu who resigned to join Hearts of Oak.
Medeama failed to finish top-four in the Ghanaian top-flight and were eliminated in the semi-finals of the domestic league cup by eventual winners Hearts of Oak.
Hence, the club believes Yaw and Yaw underachieved and thus did not renew their five-month contracts signed in March this year.
The Yellow and Mauves announced the departure of the coaches via a Twitter post.
According to reports in the local media, Medeama are considering appointing Eleven Wonders head coach Ignatius Osei Fosu or former coach, Evans Addotey.
