Former Hearts of Oak manager Mohammed Polo has identified lack of sophisticated tactician as Asante Kotoko’s problem, which he believes he can be a solution.
At the moment, Kotoko are uncertain whether or not to maintain Portuguese trainer, Mariano Barreto who steered the club to a disappointing trophyless season last term.
According to the Hearts of Oak legend, the Porcupines will bounce back next season if they appoint a good coach.
“Kotoko shouldn’t worry because I believe they will bounce back for us to see the competitiveness in our league, what they need is a good coach, and I can help if only they need my services. There are a lot of coaches in the system, they can also look for one who can help the team to grow”
The ‘Dribbling Magician’ added that the ‘fabulous’ fans should ease up on the club’s management led by visionary Nana Yaw Amponsah
“I don’t think the management was bad, the fans need to have patience for them, Nana Yaw Amponsah is a dynamic young man who wants to take Ghana Football to another level just like Herbert Mensah did” he told Otec Sports in Kumasi.
