Hearts of Oak defender Raddy Ovouka had been invited for Congo’s 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Namibia and Senegal next month.
The left back is among 26 players invited by head Coach Paul Put for the double header.
The Red Devils of Congo will open their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers campaign against Namibia on September 2 before travelling to Dakar to face Senegal on September 7.
Ovouka has capped his consistency in the Hearts of Oak set up with a National team call up.
Since joining the Phobians three seasons ago, the 22-year-old has been able to make huge impression in the Ghana Premier League where he has emerged as one of the best left backs in the top flight and Africa as a whole.
Ovouka was a core member of the Hearts of Oak side that won double in the just ended season.
He scored once in 29 appearances for the Phobians, providing many assists in all competitions.
The recent invite is seen as a testament of his hard work for the Phobians.
