Former Dreams FC striker, Joseph Esso scored a hattrick for Mouloudia Club d’Alger in a goals galore game against Hussein Dey to conclude the 202/2021 season in Algeria.
Alger played out an entertaining 8 goals thriller against Hussein Dey, which ended 4-4. The Black Stars forward was on the scoresheet three times.
Esso scored his first goal of the game on the 6th minute to give Alger a 2-1 lead before adding another from the spot to cushion the lead after 21 minutes in the match.
However, Dey fought back to score two goals in the last five minutes of the first half to level things up before the break.
The away side put themselves in front on the 69th minute through Redha Betrouni to make it 3-4.
Joseph Esso completed his hattrick two minutes later which was the equaliser the Red and Greens needed to secure 7th place on the table on the final day.
The former Hearts of Oak attacker joined the Algerian side in April this year and his three goals take his tally to 5 in all competitions despite limited playing time.
