Hearts of Oak midfielder, Abdul Manaf Umar has agreed personal terms with Premier League returnees, Real Tamale United.
An agreement was reached after Manaf met the RTU board last Saturday with Hearts of Oak already aware of the deal.
“We have spoken to Manaf Umar of Hearts and he’s ready to join RTU and we will be send a request to the Hearts management,” RTU spokesperson Sey Mubarik said in an interview with YFM in Accra.
Reports in the local media state that Hearts prefer a loan deal for the skinny midfielder to aid his development but RTU are keen on taking him outright on a three-year deal.
RTU coach, Ibrahim Tanko Shaibu is believed to be an admirer of Umar is pushing for the inclusion of the midfielder in his setup ahead of the 2021-22 football season.
