Hearts of Oak midfielder Salifu Ibrahim has been named as NASCO Ghana Premier League Player of the Season after his stunning campaign.
He was influential for the Phobians after his switch from Techiman Eleven Wonders during the second transfer window last season, helping the Phobians win the Ghana Premier League as well as the MTN FA Cup.
The accolade sees Salifu add to his Ghana Football Awards home-based Player of the Year gong which he collected in July.
The 21-year-old played 33 matches, scoring three times, providing eight assists with eight MVP awards.
He saw off competition from WAFA’s Augustine Boakye and Hearts of Oak teammates Benjamin Afutu and Gladson Awako.
