Defender, Nuru Sulley has denied requesting for contract termination at Hearts of Oak.
Earlier report in the local media suggested that, the towering guardsman has asked the management of the club for the second time to abrogate his remanning contract with the league champions after his initial request was ignored.
The reports further stated that the 29-year-old is said to be unhappy with his lack of playing time in the second-half of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League hence the decision to end his relationship with the Phobians.
In an interview with Ghanasportspage.com, he rubbished such claims and has, therefore, entreated the public to treat it with the needed contempt it deserves.
“That particular thing is a problem I have with the club but it’s not about what is being speculated in the media (contract termination), I’m wondering where that issue could be coming from,” he told Ghanasportspage.com.
“I’ve never requested for contract termination at Hearts, I’m happy here, I’ve been able to achieve my purpose of returning to the club which was to win the league and topped it up with the FA Cup so I’m okay. It has helped improved my career as well as my CV”
Nuru Sulley re-joined Hearts of Oak at the start of last season when his deal with Iraqi Premier League side Naft Al-Basra SC was exhausted and managed 16 league appearances for the Phobians last season.
