Coach C.K Akonnor took his players through some endurance work, ball retention, team defending, wing play, and shooting. All the invited players have reported in camp as of Tuesday 31st August 2021.
The players and some technical team arrived in Cape Coast on Tuesday afternoon to continue with their preparations for the 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers.
They began the camping with only 13 players on Monday at the McDan Park in Accra but coach C.K Akonnor had relatively a full house as they continued the fine tuning.
Captain Andre Ayew and his brother Jordan Ayew were present as well as Mubarak Wakaso. Spezia Calcio forward Emmanuel Gyasi, goalkeeper Richard Ofori and Hearts of Oak duo of Afriyie Barnieh and Richard Attah also partook in the training session.
The Black Stars commenced preparations for the World Cup qualifiers on Monday 30th August 2021 at the Mc Dan park in La, with 13 players involved in light training under the supervision of Head Coach CK Akonnor and Goalkeepers Trainer Richard Kingston.
The Black Stars will play Ethiopia on Friday, September 3 at the Cape Coast Stadium, before playing South Africa on Monday, September 6, 2021 in Johannesburg.
