Ghana captain Andre Morgan Rami Ayew, also known as Dede Ayew says the Black Stars are ready to take on Ethiopia in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Cape Coat Sports Stadium.
The Al Sadd forward Dede Ayew believes that the team has had enough preparation since Monday, August 30 2021 to silence ‘the Walia ibex’ on Friday 3rd September.
“Yes training has been very good since Monday, I could see that, There’s a very good team spirit, a lot of competition and a lot of talent, so we cooperate and assure that the players, who are going to represent the nation are all ready to make the nation proud”. He told the media at the pre-match conference.
It’s a marathon game, we’re playing six matches in our group but we make sure to win tomorrow’s game. ‘I know that the players are ready.
“We have a lot of young players in the squad that’s why we also have senior players to guide them, like the way senior players guided me in the past to show them the way. Because Black Stars is not for anyone, I will be here today and I will be here for long but I will leave one day and people have to be ready to take over soon. To be frank, the boys who are here are very talented, good players and need time to succeed so I believe that, with patient and hunger they will be able to succeed” He added.
We have been preparing very well and I can see that everyone is pretty much ready for the game and what I can tell Ghanaians is that they should back us with prayers and support and we will do our best tomorrow to seal qualification for the 2022 World cup. He concluded.
