The Black Stars have trained at the FNB Stadium in South Africa ahead of their showdown with the Bafana Bafana in their second Group G game of the 2022 Qatar Fifa World Cup qualifiers.
The FNB Stadium is the venue for the crucial encounter between Akonnor’s side and Hugo Broos’ team tomorrow, Monday, September 6, 2021, at 4 pm Ghana time.
Ghana’s contingent that arrived in South Africa for the game was made up of 25 players after COVID-19 rules in England did not allow 5 players based in the country to travel for the fixture.
Also, Kamaldeen Sulemana and debutant Daniel-Kofi Kyereh were recalled by their clubs.
The Black Stars picked a scrappy 1-0 win over the Walias of Ethiopia on Friday at the Cape Coast Stadium in their first group game while South Africa held Zimbabwe in Harare to a goalless draw.
