Former Black Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko player, Rev. Osei Kofi has tasked the Ghana Football Association to stay away from the call ups and the selection of players for the Black Stars.
Selection and call ups of players is one of the biggest issue being discussed by the fans of the Ghana Black Stars whenever the team about to play.
It’s been some years now there’s no consistency in the team but different players coming day in day out to join the national team.
According to the former AFCON winner the GFA shouldn’t be allow to interfere in Black Stars selections.
“When you give someone a work to do, you leave the person to do it but if he fails to do it well then you can sack him.
“Kurt and and his administration are not at the training ground with CK because they are not coaches.
“If they don’t allow Akonnor to do his selections then if he fails Kurt too will also fail.
“They should not dictate for him because he will be sacked alone if he fails.
“They are doing like they don’t understand football.
“I still wonder why they still doing that to CK Akonnor.
“I think that the FA is not right to dictate for the coach.”. He told ghanasportspage.com.
