Egyptian top flight side Al Ittihad Alexandra Club have officially announced the signing of Elmina Sharks FC forward Benjamin Bernard Boateng.
The inside forward pulled string for Sharks in the Ghana Premier League last term to aid the team escape relegation.
The wideman was linked with a move to GPL giant Asante Kotoko who could not pull the deal off for unknown reason.
Boateng who spent about two years at the Cape Coast based club netted eight goals to finish the season as the club’s highest scorer.
Following an impressive campaign the 20-year-old has penned a three year deal with Ittihad which run until 2024.
The triple B joins compatriot Moro Salifu who signed for the North African side from Bechem United.
