Guinean attacker Naby Keita has revealed why he thinks Kotoko failed to win the Ghana Premier League title.
The 28-year-old terminated his contract with the Porcupines citing reasons of playing time and documentation renewal purposes.
Keita scored 2 goals in 12 appearances for Kotoko in a season the Kumasi-based side finished second to winners Hearts of Oak.
The former Renaissance Club De Conakry player has explained why he believes Kotoko lost out on the league title race to Hearts.
“Kotoko had good players who could have won the league but there was division and Hearts were serious than us. Kotoko needs to be united for the team to prosper,” he said in an interview with Ghanasportspage.com.
In October 2018, Keita moved to Ghana and signed a three-year contract with Kotoko on a free transfer.
