Former Chelsea and Ghanaian midfielder, Micheal Essien has congratulated his former teammate, Bismark Kobi-Mensah few weeks after his appointment as new Karela United coach.

Essien, who was a household name in Ghana, Africa and the world football sent a congratulatory message Via WhatsApp to his former teammate at Black Starlet.
Essien and Kobi-Mensah were teammates during the 1999 edition of the Africa and World U17 championships staged in New Zealand.
But injuries ruined Kobi-Mensah’s bright career after the Africa U-17 championship in Zambia.
“I wish you all the best in your new career as a coach …I believe in your knowledge as a football person…..and I know you will succeed …..@MichaelEssien”, Essien said as quoted by Domesticsportsgh.com.
Kobi-Mensah has already begun work as new Karela United coach.
