Hearts of Oak is reportedly demanding a fee of $20,000 from defender Nuru Sulley before terminating the player’s contract.
The fee is said to be a compensation as the club will end the contract based on the player’s request.
Sulley has been out of favour since losing his place to Robert Addo Sowah who walked in after the former picked up a red card against Dreams FC in May last season.
The experienced center half who is having his second spell with the club never returned to the line up for the remainder of the campaign.
Therefore, Sulley through his agent has made his intention of seeking game time elsewhere known to Hearts of Oak by demanding termination of contract.
According to Phobia News, the player’s management offered to pay $5,000 of the $20,000 the club is requesting as release fee.
Nuru Sulley has drawn interest from new promoted side Bibiani Gold Stars with talks reportedly on going between the two parties.
However his contract termination situation at Hearts of Oak has slowed the negotiations.
