President of the Guinean based club CI Kamsar Mr. Rene Bangoura has revealed their opinion about CAF’s decision for them to play Hearts of Oak home away from home in a one leg header after the rising of coup d’état in Guinea in the previous weeks.
The players of Club Industriel De Camsar have arrived safely in Ghana to play Hearts of in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the ‘Nations Wembley’ Accra Sports Stadium.
The first leg of the said game was supposed to be played last week in Guinea before the second league in Ghana but due to the to the coup d’état in Guinea CAF decided for the two respective clubs to have one leg header in Accra, Ghana.
According to the president of the away side it wasn’t fair to them when the game was decided to be played once in Accra.
“For us it wasn’t fair at all but I was talking to my team. I said they have to be focused on this game one way if we can shock the Phobians. We have to make this happen and focus on this game.” He said.
In addition he also said, “It doesn’t utter our plans for qualification. Not at all because our players are ready for that and we have told them to be ready on any away and they have to be serious and focused on the game. I spoke with them on their way coming and they promised me that they will do everything possible to win the game.” He told Wontumi Nationwide Sports.
