Asante Kotoko SC have announced the appointments of David Ocloo and John Eduafo as assistant coaches to head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.
The former WAFA coach, Narteh replaces expatriate coach Mariano Barreto following his contract termination few days ago as coach of the club.
However, the club have confirmed former Liberty Professionals head coach David Ocloo as the first deputy coach and John Eduafo as the second deputy.
Both coaches hold CAF License A coaching certificates and have reputation for an attacking style of play and talent development.
Ocloo has previously worked with Wa All Stars and Maranatha FC of Togo. He also enjoyed a playing career in Asia for several years.
John Eduafo, the former Eleven Wise player has previously worked for Inter Allies as assistant to Tony Lokko in 2020 after leaving Elevn Wonders.
He later served as deputy to expatriates Peter Lehm and Dani Mujkanovic during his short spell at the club.
Eduafo’s exit from Inter Allies led to the appointment of Felix Aboagye.
Meanwhile, Prosper Narteh and his men will begin their Kotoko adventure this after at the Adako Jachie training grounds as the team resumes preseason.
