Newly appointed Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Ogum Nartey says he want to be remembered for having an enormous impact at Kotoko in all aspects required by a coach.
The former WAFA gaffer desires to creat an identity regarding the style of play through the senior side to the soon to set up youth team while winning trophies along the line.
The Black Stars B assistant coach was appointed last Saturday as the new manager for the Porcupines, taking over from Portuguese trainer Mariano Barreto who was axed after 7 months in charge.
“I want Kotoko to play beautiful game that would please everyone who watches the team at training and in games. I want Kotoko to win trophies in my time here as Head Coach.” Mr Nartey said in his first interview with the Kotoko media team.
“I want to be remembered as the coach who came and established a strong, sound youth team for Kotoko, a coach who came and changed the style of play of Kotoko and a coach who came and won trophies for Kotoko.” He added
Prosper Ogum Nartey commenced his new challenge on Monday, September 20, leading the team in a first ever training session at Adako Jachie training center ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.
