Ghana Premier League side, Karela United have reportedly earmarked former Hasaacas striker Samuel Afful as a replacement for departing striker Diawisie Taylor.
Taylor is on his way out of the club after completing his transfer to Egyptian newly-promoted side Future FC.
The Former Gold stars striker is believed to have agreed on terms with the side in a deal that will see him earn $10,000 monthly.
The 2020-21 Ghana Premier League topscorer is expected to finalize his deal with the Egyptian club this week.
Howbeit, Afful who last played for Nigerian Professional League side Rivers United is said to have popped up on Karela’s coach radar as the ‘Passioners’ ready to open negotiation with the former Black Stars B forward, according to Domesticsportsgh.
The 25-year old was part of the Local Black Stars side which won the WAFU Cup of Nations in 2017 and was with Ghana at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
Afful had a short stint with Tanzanian side Azam FC and also played for Iraqi side Al Talaba.
