Former Ghanaian footballer has charged the Ghana FA to prepare local coaches for the Black Stars than to appoint a foreigner.
The Black Stars coaching job is still vacant after the sacking of CK Akonnor. Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac is likely to take over the job after the FA appointed three member committee to find an experience coach for the job.
The return of the Serbian coach will be the second time of his service as a Black Stars coach.
According to Mr. Ibrahim Sunday the FA should prepare a local coach for the job than to give an appointment to a foreign coach.
“To me we should prepare a local coach who can do the job and give him the opportunity to do the job in the right way. After all there’s no foreign coach to have won a trophy with for us before.
“The thing is very tricky. Maybe he can do better but there should be a proper selection which can help us. There are some of the players whose standard is not up to that level.
“For the coaches, we have David Duncan, Didi Dramani. There are one or two local coaches who can do the job if given a free hand.”
Sunday told Chinese based Ghanaian presenter Sir Martin on GL online radio.
