Two AshantiGold SC players Isaac Opoku Agyemang and Emmanuel Owusu will not be able to feature for their respective clubs abroad after the Ghana Football Association refused to release their International Transfer Certificate, according to Happyghana.com.
The two players are among the AshantiGold team currently under investigation in the match-fixing scandal against Inter Allies in the Ghana Premier League.
Isaac Opoku is set to join Serbian club Partizan Belgrade whilst Emmanuel Owusu joins Sfintul George in Moldova.
Happy Sports report that the GFA has refused to release the transfer Certificate of these two players until investigations are over.
Meanwhile, some players and club officials of the two clubs have been charged for their involvement in the match manipulation.
