Asante Kotoko SC might not be able to sign West Africa Football Academy(WAFA) striker Justus Torsutsey, according to transfer journalist, Mohammed Shaban.
Kotoko have shown keen interest in landing the Military man from the Sokagape based side and have submitted an official bid but a deal could fall through.
Report by Shaban shows that WAFA would want to hold on to Torsutsey for another season, making his transfer difficult for the Porcupines.
Nonetheless, the player in an interview with Ashh FM early this month confirmed his readiness to play for Kotoko but turns out he has to wait for another season to see his dream come to reality.
“There’s been a formal approach from Kotoko for my service. It will be a dream move if I join Asante Kotoko and the Asanteman family,”
Justus Torsutsey was a revelation towards the end of the Ghana Premier League last season, scoring 6 goals in 16 games including one against Asante Kotoko.
