The first leg of the World Cup qualifiers clash between the Black Stars of Ghana and The Warriors of Zimbabwe is set to kick off on October 9, 2021 at Cape Coast in Ghana.

Both nations are hoping to make it possible for the upcoming World Cup which is every nations biggest dream to achieve.

The two opponent have sacked their head coaches and have already replaced them with an ambitions to get spot in the FIFA World Cup 2022.

The Zimbabwean’s spirit of punishing Ghana is very high as they have assured of using UK based players against the four time champions of Africa in Cape Coast.

Zimbabwe is currently part of the red list of the UK’s COVID-19 countries which avoid some of the UK-based Ghanaian players to travel for the second leg in Zimbabwe.

The Zimbabwean FA named Norman Takanyariwa Mapeza as the new head coach after sacking Croatian 55-year old manager Zdravko Logarusi.

Mr. Wellington Mpadare, manager of the Zimbabwean national team ‘The Warriors’ confidently believes his new coach can surprise Ghana in the next international break for the World Cup qualifier encounter.

“He is a top coach. He won majority of the games he played with our team during his duties just that it was not a permanent job for him. We know he is a very good coach having played in the Champions League. We are so much confident that’s why we appointed him to be the coach for the national team.

“We believe in him and we will give him hundred percent support. He told GL Radio in China
