Black Stars World Cup qualifiers opponent The Warriors of Zimbabwe sacked their coach Zdravko Logarušić after a lone goal defeat to Ethiopia in the ongoing World Cup qualifiers for the upcoming mundial in Qatar.
In an ambitions to qualify for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, The Warriors are finding possible ways to grab their first win over Ghana in the next international break.
Croatian manager Zdravko Logarušić was sacked due to his low performance with the team having won only one game out of fourteen games.
In an interview with Sir Martin on GL Radio in China, the Zimbabwean national team manager, Mr. Wellington Mpandare explained, “The reason is we played fourteen games and he managed to win only one game. We can’t keep him again because we gave him a long term to live with us. After playing two games he won one and lost the others so if you look at our records now that’s the worse record we’ve ever had.” He concluded.
