Hearts of Oak new boy, Enoch Asubonteng, has said the Phobians are prepared to deliver against Wydad Athletic Club(WAC) in the CAF Champions League group stage play-off tie.
Asubonteng believes Hearts have enough quality to come good against last edition’s semi-finalists.
The youngster made his debut for the Rainbow side in win over CI Kamsar in the preliminary stage of the competition and is optimistic of beating WAC in the next stage.
“We are very confident, full of belief with the quality of players we have. We will go into every game, no matter who we play, ready to be ruthless in front of goal and defend our box as well”. He told heartsofoaksc.com
The former WAFA is hopeful that the team can condition themselves well for the significant encounter.
“We have a very strong team which can go on and on. We’ve got to make sure we prepare right, go in and get ready for the WAC game. That’s what’s important and everyone’s looking forward to it”.
“We have done well in big games, against big opponents and it’s another chance for us to go out there and show what collectively we’ve got and what we’re about”.
Hearts of Oak will host the first leg at Accra Sports Stadium on October 17, before the the return leg in Casablanca on October 22-23.
