Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars are ready to part ways with some players who are not having much time to play and set to divulge the signing of four to five players within a short period of time.
According to the spokesperson of the club, it is obviously not good that a team will be spending on a player who do not have a playing spot on the pitch but always found on the bench whilst being paid.
“Officially we haven’t part ways with any player and we haven’t signed any player too but I can confirm to you that the management have started a process to offload some players because some of them have been with us for a long time without a playing time but always on the bench and receiving a salary.
“It affects the player. Maybe he can get a playing time in a new Club so that he can become a key player for the team.
“We will let them go but officially the club is in process for that. We have heard a lot of rumours concerning some of our players being leaving the club but it’s not official.
“Maybe the club will issue a statement ending of this week about the players who will be leaving and the new signings because as the league goes on we identify where are weekly and where our strength is.
“Gradually, we have started a recruitment. We the managers have named our recruitment “Behind The Scene Signing”. We are doing it all here but it won’t be public because if they hear the name Aduana Stars is coming for their player then they start increasing the price tag or other teams will be very fast to sign the players.
In an addition he said “We will keep all our signings in the club’s fraternity. We will choose a particular day for unveiling after the signings but I can assure all Aduana Stars supporters that we are very ambitious in the transfer market and still doing a lot of talks.
“Within a short time we will confirm about four or five players.” Mr. Evans Oppong told ghanasportspage.com.
