Karela United are set to embark on a massive clear-out with doyen Kwame Boateng among the ten players set to be axed.
The Passioners will release about 10 players to make way for the arrival of some new players targeted by the Aiyinasi-based club for the upcoming season, according to Domesticsportsgh.
Of the players to be released, the identities of only six of them are known with coach Bismark Kobi-Mensah set to name the other four players in the coming days.
Former Medeama SC and Asante Kotoko goal-monger, Emmanuel Kwame Boateng and Prosper Arvo will headline the list of players to be axed with Reginard Thompson, Sherrif Mohammed, Peter Onyame and Sule Watara also set for the exit door.
The identities of the four remaining players will be known when the technical team finalize their plans.
Karela United are seeking to argument their squad for the upcoming season and Coach Bismark Kobi-Mensah wants an squad for the challenges of the season.
The Pride and Passion boys have already acquired the services of Jones Appiah from Tema United, Humin Mohammed Dafie and Samuel Atta Kumi also been signed from New Edubiase United and Phar Rangers respectively.
Meanwhile, Umar Bashiru and Godfred Yeboah have left the club.
