Asante Kotoko SC have been busy in the transfer market as they seek to revamp their squad for the 2021-22 football season.
The club have completed eight signings so far with more to come.
The Porcupines have exhibited strong interest in Ebusua Dwarfs captain Dennis Nkrumah Korsah with talks far advanced, the player has confirmed.
Coach Prosper Narteh wants the highly-rated left back in his squad despite already having Imoro Ibrahim and Patrick Asmah on the same role.
Ghanasportspage.com can report that, Prosper Narteh has decided to move Asmah forward, leaving Imoro as the only left-back in the team.
Aside Kotoko, Korsah who happens to be a graduate of University of Cape Coast has also been linked to AshantiGold Sporting Club and Hearts of Oak.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Wontumi Radio/TV, Dennis Korsah disclosed that he has been in talks with several clubs including Asante Kotoko.
“Yes, it’s true that am talking to several clubs because we are in the transfer season and definitely players and their managers will be talking to clubs for deals. I can’t disclosed details of it but Kotoko is part of the clubs”, Korsah said.
The 25-year-old was the brightest spot in the set up of the former GPL side, scoring four goals in 28 appearances for the Crabs.
He netted against both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in the league with spectacular free kicks, exhibiting his inner deadball abilities and gradually making it his hallmark.
