Ghana Premier League (GPL) side, King Faisal have aimed at signing five outgoing players from city rivals Asante Kotoko SC.
Kotoko have shortlisted 9 players of which the club will part ways with four while loaning out the remaining five.
The players listed for loan or possibly a permanent transfer include, Osman Ibrahim, Samuel Frimpong, Godfred Asiamah, Emmanuel Sarkodie and goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim.
Whereas, Habib Mohammed, Latif Anabila, Emmanuel Gyamfi, and Adom Frimpong are set to mutually terminate their contracts.
According to transfer journalist Mohammed Shaban, Faisal are looking to sign Habib, Osman, Danlad, Asiamah and Sarkodie to better their squad for next season.
However, the Green and Whites face competition from other GPL clubs who are already in talks with some of the players.
Recent reports claim Hearts of Oak have shown interest in Habib, Asiamah is closing in on a move to Berekum Chelsea whilst Dreams FC are in advance talks to sign Danlad.
The ‘Insh Allah’ side after narrowly escaping relegation last term would want to improve on their performance, which the aforementioned players could significantly improve the team.
King Faisal have already began pre-season as the new GPL season is set to commence on October 29 this year.
