Ghana captain Andre Ayew scores 4th league goal for Al Sadd
Andre Ayew was on the score sheet for Al Sadd as they defeated Al Arabi 4-0 in the Qatar stars league on Friday evening.
The Ghanaian skipper has been in good form since joining Al Sadd during the summer.
Following a barren first half, Al Sadd broke the deadlock through Baghdad Bournedjah in the 59th minute before doubling the lead two minutes later through Hassan Al-Haydos.
Baghdad Bournedjah recorded his second of the match in the 74th minute before Andre Ayew completed the riot from the spot in the 82nd minute.
The result meant Al Sadd maintained their 100 percent winning record since the start of the league to lie top of the Qatar Stars League.
Andre Ayew’s strike on Friday means he has scored four times in five games for the Qatar side.
With Ghana playing Zimbabwe this month in the 2022 Qatar world cup qualifiers, Black Stars head coach Milovan Rajevac will count on the captain of the black stars to continue with his scoring form at the national level.
