The Warriors of Zimbabwe will arrive in Ghana on Tuesday, October 5, 2022, for their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ghana.
Ghana will play host to Zimbabwe on Saturday, October 9 at the Cape Coast stadium before playing the return fixture some days after.
The Warriors will be hoping to upset Ghana in their bid to qualify for Qatar 2022. Sitting at the bottom of Group G, the Zimbawewans are looking forward to having a great game.
On the other side of the coin, Ghana is also hoping to wear victory crowns again as new coach Milovan Rajevac is seeking to prove his second stint is worthwhile.
Zimbabwe team manager, Wellington Mpandare confirms to Ghanasportspage.com that the Warriors will arrive in the country tomorrow for the much-anticipated game.
“We are leaving tomorrow (Tuesday) and arriving same day. We are linking up with South African-based players in including (Thabani) Kamusoko, in Johannesburg,” Wellington Mpandare told Ghanasportspage.com.
He further revealed that their captain Knowledge Musona will be in Ghana today.
“Knowledge (Musona) is arriving in Ghana today. The rest will arrive tomorrow while Teenage will be the last to arrive, on the 6th,” added Mpandare.
Zimbabwe will be coming with 27 contingents with 24 players and 7 officials.
