Hearts of Oak SC left back, Raddy Ovouka is reportedly doubtful for the club’s CAF Champions League group stage play-off tie against Wydad Athletic Club(WAC).
Hearts eliminated Guinean side Club Industrial de Kamsar in the preliminary round of the competition where Ovouka played full throttle to guide the Phobians to a 2-0 win.
According to multiple reports, the Congolese international is said to have picked an injury in the fixture last month and has since not begin group training ahead of the game against WAC.
Hence, Ovouka who has been a regular member of the Congo National Team was left out of the current squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Hearts of Oak, however, continue their preparations towards the decisive encounter and hoping to get Ovouka back with the team before the first leg in Accra on October 17.
The reigning Ghana Premier League champions have set a preparatory game against Ashanti Gold SC on Sunday, October 10.
Initially, Hearts were set to play Ivorian giant Asec Mimosas but the latter pullout for unknown reasons.
Hearts after the first leg in Ghana will travel to Morocco for the return encounter in Casablanca between October 22-23.
