Asante Kotoko SC target Seth Osei has resumed training with Ashanti Gold SC after his reported move to the regional capital hit snug.
Kotoko shown keen interest in securing the signature of the quick feet attacking midfielder but could not reach agreement with the Miners.
While negotiations between the two parties were ongoing, the player failed to show up for pre-season training citing illness as the reason for his absence.
The Gold and Blacks demanded $80,000 from the Reds who opted to pay $50,000 less the amount for the transfer. Hence, the two could not reach on a transfer fee.
Osei who claim to be a fan of the Porcupines pleaded to Kotoko fans to pay the remaining $30,000 to secure his dream move.
At the moment, the deal seems to have fallen through with 3 days left before the transfer window closes. The former Eleven Wonders man has thus reported to training on October 5.
Ashanti Gold following an average performance in the league last season would want to improve in the soon-to-start 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League campaign under new gaffer Ernest Thompson.
