Karela United have secured the signing of former Hearts of Oak defender, Christopher Bonney on a free transfer.
Bonney has been without a club for almost a year after his three years spell with the Phobians came to an end in 2020.
With 3 days left to close the Ghanaian transfer window, the experienced full-back has signed a year’s deal with the Aiyinasie side, report by Mohammed Shaban indicates.
Bonney has rich experience in the local terrain having played for Ebusua Dwarfs, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
Therefore, his signing gives Coach Bismark Kobby-Mensah the blend he would want before the start of the 21/22 season.
Karela United are currently having their pre-season and Christopher Bonney is expected to join his new teammates within this week.
The Nzema based club will begin the new term in front of their fans at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park against Aduana Stars.
