Bechem United PRO Mr. Atuahene Gyasi has opened up on Hafiz Konkoni’s arm surgery after having a horrific clash with Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah at Bechem in the just ended GPL season.
The midfielder suffered from an injury on his left arm which has affected him to take on some break for a while.
According to the PRO of Bechem United, Hafiz Konkoni has gone through a successful surgery but will wait to pass the third review before he can resume training.
“Hafiz has gone through a successful arm surgery and have passed the first review. The surgery was conducted last month on his left arm. The cost is GH¢20,000.
“He had a problem with his arm after clashing with Richard Attah at Bechem during a home game against Hearts of Oak.
“Looking at the surgery the doctors had to insert their small metallic item in his arm.
“He has not started training yet but he is still under the review and has passed the first review.
“His return to the pitch will be decided by the doctors after the third review. He had the first review last two weeks. The second review will be conducted in the next two weeks. Roughly by the end of the first of November, he will have the third review and we will get to know the number of days or months it will take before he returns.
“The surgery has been done successfully.”
