Black Stars head coach, Milovan Rajevac, is full of praise for Jordan Ayew as he explains how integral the Crystal Palace forward is to the Ghana National Team.
Ghana will face Zimbabwe on October 9, in a Group G FIFA World Cup qualifier with former Swansea and Aston Villa forward set to lead the line.
Ayew has come under series of backlash for not been prolific in front of goal.
The former Ghana U-20 star have scored just a goal in his last 8 games for for Ghana as the target man.
His last two goals for the Black Stars came from the spot, both against São Tomé and Principe in the AFCON qualifiers.
However, new manager Rajevac who has monitored Ayew for a while now says the latter is more of a team player which makes him significant to the squad.
“ I think it’s about how to help the team succeed and he’s more of a team player. His work rate for the team is so high and he’s an important player for the Black Stars” Coach Milo said as quoted by GTV Sports plus.
The match is set at 16:00 GMT.
