Ghana Premier League returnees Real Tamale United have reportedly reached an agreement with lower-tier side Steadfast for the services of Africa U20 best player Abdul Fatawu Issahaku on a season-long loan deal.
RTU according to speculations in the local media have reached the final stage of negotiations with the player’s representative with both parties agreeing to the deal which will be confirmed in the coming days.
Fatawu Issahaku who is currently in the camp of the Black Stars preparing for the World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe in Cape Coast shot to prominence when he was named player of the tournament in helping Ghana with the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations earlier this year.
The teenager subsequently earned a first call-up to the senior national team for their qualifying matches in the Africa Cup of Nations in March.
Fatawu, 17, was heavily linked with a move to Premier League club, Liverpool, Sporting Lisbon and Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen but the deal could not materialize due to unknown reasons.
